God Is At Work

Churches in the Yakima Valley come together to love and serve our community when they partner with Love INC. That ministry has been growing quickly over the past 18 months. One area we have witnessed that growth has been in the Connection Center. From 2019 to April 2022, the Connection Center averaged between 44 and 46 calls each month from people seeking assistance. When our country began to see a sharp rise in inflation in May of 2022, calls almost doubled. This year that trend has continued. Through the end of October, the Connection Center is answering an average of 120 phone calls each month. One of the reasons for the increase is that when things get more expensive for those who were already living paycheck to paycheck, any margin they may have had in their budget is gone. It takes $1.15 today to buy what $1 would have bought just 2 years ago. God is at work and your support is helping more people than ever.
