Shauna had major car issues and was trying to make good financial decisions as she progressed through the TEAM program at Emerge. Her most economical car, with the best gas mileage, needed the clutch replaced but there was no way that she could pay for the repairs. She saved enough to buy the parts, and since she had been working so hard in TEAM, she was eligible to request a voucher for free labor on her clutch repair. The work took 11.5 hours to complete, so Shauna saved $1,092.50 in repair costs! During her time in the program, she was able to pay off $14,426 in debt with the help of business partners.

Seeing Lives Transformed

Emerge Business Partners provide services (oil changes, car repair, counseling, dental care, etc.) to Emerge participants. Participants earn vouchers at Emerge which they can redeem for the services.
