Serving In Your Gifting

We are thankful for the ways God has provided exactly what we need before we are even aware that we needed it. This year we have witnessed His provision of volunteers for the ministry. Eighteen months ago, we began the transition to a new database for Love INC that required us to transfer all our existing data from our old Excel spreadsheets into the new database. We put out a call for volunteers willing to do data entry and had a few people respond. They graciously worked with us as we learned the new system and faithfully served in entering the old data. Over the last few months, these volunteers have been finishing up the data entry, but rather than ending their volunteer service, we have worked with them and found new roles which allow them to utilize gifts we were unaware of when they first started serving at Love INC. Two of them now help with our Kids Program at Emerge Ministries on Tuesday nights, one is now helping with our financial bookkeeping, and another has stepped into the volunteer role of TEAM Administrative Assistant. We are so thankful for God’s continuing provision.
