Giving Hope

When you support Love INC it impacts people like Debbie,* a recent Love INC graduate. When Debbie started Emerge (Love INC’s Tuesday night program), she was living in a shelter after reporting domestic violence to the police. She had a tremendous debt load and needed to find a place to live, but she was smart and very motivated to get out of debt. As Debbie progressed in her budgeting and saving skills, she developed a debt snowball spreadsheet that enabled her to get started paying off her debt. She had a lot of ups and downs with her health, family drama, and stress from a tight schedule, but she managed to pay off over $20,000 in debt before graduation time!
