For those of you who feel called to participate in the mission of Love INC, there are several volunteer opportunities. Each has its own initial training, as well as follow-up training throughout the year.
Clearinghouse and TEAM (Training, Equipping and Mentoring) Programs
- Intake Volunteer: answer phones and fill out intake sheet with information
- Follow-ups and verifications: call client back with information
- Love Note Composer: write each client with an encouraging word
- Data entry for client information; both Clearinghouse and TEAM
- Assembling presentation materials: copying, gathering, etc.
- Photographer for website, facebook and e-newsletters.
- Teaching life skill classes once a week (we furnish the materials) TEAM
- Budget mentoring once a week with one client over a year’s time TEAM
- Preparing, cooking, serving, clean up meals once a week for families in TEAM Program
- Children’s Program: assisting Child Evangelism Fellowship staff, once a week TEAM
Gap Ministries
- Logistics (getting donations to and from warehouse, delivery to churches, delivery to clients)
- CMC (Church Ministry Coordinates)
Board Support
- Serve as Board member
- Fundraising Committee
- Assist with presentations to churches, small groups, social service agencies, etc.
- Hospitality committee for events
